Police may look at claims Andrew shared state secrets with Epstein

Описание: Thames Valley Police says it is assessing claims Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor shared confidential documents with Jeffrey Epstein while serving as UK trade envoy.

It follows a complaint by the anti-monarchy group Republic, which has reported Mountbatten-Windsor for suspected misconduct in public office and breach of official secrets.

An email exchange from 30 November 2010 - part of the latest release in the Epstein files - suggests Andrew forwarded Epstein "visit reports for Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shenzhen" relating to a visit he carried out around that time to South East Asia (see more in our post at 8.39am).

Andrew was the UK's special representative for trade and investment from 2001 to July 2011 - he has denied any wrongdoing in relation to previous claims made in the files.
