Jeffrey Don Lundgren was a devout member of the RLDS church, which is a branch of the Mormon religion. When the church leaders started making progressive changes, Jeffrey became enraged. He eventually found a group of like-minded people, and they formed a cult, with Jeffrey as their prophet. And tragically, Jeffrey managed to brainwash his followers into sacrificing five of their own members.
