In this video I’m sharing how I cook Sinigang na Hipon, a classic Filipino sour soup with shrimp. This is simple, comforting, and perfect for everyday home cooking.
I start by washing and preparing all the vegetables, cook them until tender, then add the sinigang mix near the end because acidic ingredients can keep vegetables from softening. I also remove the shrimp first to avoid overcooking, then add them back at the end so they stay juicy and tender.
This is my easy, practical way of making sinigang using whatever pot you have at home. For me, I’m using my chamba pot.
