Boat Time: ~90 minutes or more when you get to swim with dolphins!
Visability: 15-20m
Specialities: About an hour and a half off shore from La Ventana and 30 minutes from Isla Cerralvo is a small pinnacle called La Reina. This video was from 2 sea safaris in November 21 to La Reina which were incredibly fruitful! We saw:
megapods of playful dolphins
sea lion exiles
the biggest baitball of my life, it was like being in the eye of a fish-nado!
juvenile whale shark
turtles
millions of fish
The water was warm and clear, a bit of current to one side but overall, incredible days at sea! On the return back to La Ventana, we stopped at La Reinita which is shallower and good for snorkeling. This is where we saw the whale shark, a bit out of season so a pleasant surprise!
