Why Exercise Didn’t Change My Body Until I Lowered Insulin |

I was doing the work, but not seeing the results.
I have always exercised more or less (less these days with 2 littles). But building muscle does not automatically mean losing the fat on top.
For a long time, that was incredibly frustrating. I was training hard, feeling stronger, but also feeling bigger. And I did not like how my clothes fit.
I lived that cycle for 15 years.
Two a day workouts.
CrossFit four days a week.
If there was a way to train harder, I tried it.
None of it helped me reach my aesthetic goals. Yes, I was strong. But I still carried the fat that made me feel uncomfortable in my body. Uncomfortable in my clothes.
✨Everyone is allowed to have their own aesthetic goals✨
The shift happened when I stopped trying to out exercise my hormones and started focusing on lowering insulin. That is when the fat on top finally started to come off, revealing the muscle I had built all along.
Movement builds strength.
Lowering insulin lets you see it.
That made all the difference.
