This guided breathing meditation follows a 6-6 rhythm:
• Inhale for 6 seconds
• Exhale for 6 seconds
Breathing at this pace helps calm the nervous system, improve heart rate variability (HRV), and gently shift the body into a more relaxed, balanced state.
As you breathe, allow your belly and lower ribs to expand outward on the inhale. As you exhale, let your body soften and release tension. Keep your chest and shoulders relaxed throughout.
Many people find this 6-6 rhythm to be comfortable and relaxing, but feel free to adjust the pace to what feels best for you.
