Today I go in search of and find a local thai community whose houses are built of stilts and sit over the water. Initially i felt comfortable walking around the area but after some time, one or two people gave me the feeling I should perhaps continue on my day.
Trying to find my way across a freeway a young guy on his way to work stops and assists me as I struggle to find the right path. I come to find Yang has spent time as a student in australia and has stopped to help me on his way to work where he's an engineer.
next I bump into a subscriber named, Jim. Jim is a traveler on his way to Myanmar and used to sail in Florida. As we're walking and talking we come across a rail yard with steam locomotives parked one behind the other. Jim and I walk across the tracks and into the loco shed to explore these old machines.
On my way home I stop into a market and have a pork dish which i try to explain, this done quite poorly.
A great Friday morning walk.
