Cox® Decompression Technic using "flexion distraction" and "decompression" to control the movement of the table. When performing COX® decompression treatment, Dr. Wong will decompress precise level of patient's disc herniation. After decompression, the protruded disc will reabsorb and the annulus fibrosis will repair. In the process of decompression, the body can take away the inflammatory substances produced by the intervertebral disc which irritating the spinal nerves, it also increase the blood circulation and accelerate the healing of the affected area. When the disc begins to repair, the decompression treatment will enter the second stage, and multi-directional decompression will be performed. With the correct posture and exercise, the symptoms of sciatica or slip disc will generally improve greatly from 4 weeks to 12 weeks treatment.

Cox® decompression technic is particularly effective to reduce the symptoms of low back pain, leg pain and neck and shoulder pain. Especially for: cervical or lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, sciatica, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, postoperative spinal pain, osteoporosis (elderly and pregnant women are also suitable).
