Описание: National Health and Morbidity surveys in Malaysia has shown that the number of adults who are ‘at risk’ of developing some form of mental illness in Malaysia has risen from 10.7% in 1996 to 29.2% in 2015. This alarming increase within the last two decades unfortunately has not been followed up with a development in the country’s mental health policies. In this talk, the speaker highlights on the challenges that plagued the Mental Health system, and how can the public addresses it effectively by normalizing the need of therapy in Malaysia.
