United States President Donald Trump has suggested Palestinians in Gaza be relocated to Jordan and Egypt due to extensive destruction in the area.
The US President stressed for the Palestinians to move to a “fresh” piece of land to build new homes in, stating Gaza is currently a “demolition site”
“The Gaza thing has not worked, it’s never worked, and I feel very differently about Gaza than a lot of people,” Mr Trump said.
“I think they should get a good fresh beautiful piece of land, and we get some people to put up the money to build it and make it nice and make it habitable and enjoyable.”
The controversial proposal is facing rejection from Arab nations who have raised concerns about geopolitical stability in the region.
