Pinocchio's Daring Journey is a dark ride found in Disneyland California, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Park in Paris, situated in the Fantasyland section of each park and based on Disney's 1940 animated film "Pinocchio". The ride takes visitors through key moments of the film, from Pinocchio's escape from Stromboli's puppet show to his adventures on Pleasure Island, ultimately leading to his reunion with Geppetto and transformation into a real boy. Originally conceived in 1976 for Disneyland, the attraction was delayed until its debut in Tokyo Disneyland in 1983, followed shortly after by its introduction in Disneyland California. The ride features innovative effects such as holographic material and Pepper's ghost illusion, creating immersive experiences for guests. The ride vehicles resemble wooden carts adorned with characters from the film, and the journey includes encounters with iconic scenes and characters like Stromboli, Monstro the whale, and the Blue Fairy. Adjacent to the Disneyland version of the ride was Geppetto's Arts & Crafts, a themed souvenir shop that underwent several transformations over the years before ultimately becoming vacant.
