Invoice, Receive Payment, Deposit in QuickBooks Online

Описание: In this video, we answer a viewer question about how to manage the process of invoicing customers, receiving the payment, and recording the deposit in QuickBooks Online.

One common mistake new QuickBooks users can experience is creating an invoice, depositing the payment for the invoice, and seeing double the income on the profit and loss statement while still showing an open invoice.

The correct process will receive a payment to the invoice, closing it out, and matching that payment to the deposit that clears the bank. Now, you'll be able to see accurate income numbers (and avoid paying tax on an overstated income amount!) and know which invoices have been paid and deposited.
