Driving from Bran to Rucăr offers one of the most beautiful mountain routes in Romania, especially in June when the Carpathians are covered with deep green forests and the sky is perfectly blue and clear. The journey begins in Bran, a historic town famous for its medieval castle, narrow streets, and traditional houses surrounded by mountain peaks.
