With the rapid progression of Polaris and its systems, the UCR-UAS team conducted the first live test of Polaris with the Pixhawk autopilot systems integrated. Though disarmed, the Pixhawk was mounted with the primary purpose of acquiring valuable flight data, which will be used for further analysis regarding the aircraft's performance.
