Welcome to PARKRUN SHOWDOWN — the series where I run and review different parkruns across the UK, score them on key criteria, and rank them on the leaderboard, all with a full course POV.
This week I'm chasing a faster 5K PB at Hastings parkrun. Even though I ran a personal best at Eastbourne last week, I wasn’t satisfied with it, so I’m back for another 5km PB attempt on this famously fast coastal course. Will the course help me PB and also speed to the top of the Parkrun showdown standings or will it slowly fall to the bottom? Tune in to find out!
