Get Ready For S4 EP07 - The North Face® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® 2013 - Race Report

Описание: Great season for Sebastien Chaigneau who start his Ultra world tour by Canaria for the Transgrancanaria, 120kms - 7000D+ that he has won. Then he traveled to Japan for make us discover the asian culture of trail across the Ultra trail Mount Fuji, 160 kms -- 9000D+, where he took the third place.
During july, Sebastien was in the Colorado US for the Hardrock 100, a 160kms with more of 10 000D+ and 3300m of altitude average. He won the race with the best time.
Only 6 weeks between the Hardrock 100 and the Utmb. For the recovery, it's a real challenge for Seb. Unfortunately, after 30kms of the race, he need to stop because of fatigue.
For this year, sun was here for the UTMB® and runner can do the real turn of the Mont-Blanc. And the party was more beautiful with the presence of american's runner like Anton Krupicka, Timothy Olson, Michael Foote, Mike Wolf or also Rory Bosio who they competed against great european runner like Julien Chorier, Jonas Buud, Miguel Herras, Carlos Sà... but the nice surprise came from the young french runner Xavier Thevenard who won the UTMB®in 20h38

Belle saison pour Sébastien Chaigneau qui a débuté son tour du monde par les Canaries pour la TransGranCanaria, 120kms -- 7000D+ qu'il remporte. Il nous a ensuite fait voyager au Japon, pour découvrir la culture nippone du Trail à travers l'Ultra Trail du Mont-Fuji, 160kms -- 9000 D+, où il prend la 3ème place.
Pendant le mois de Juillet, Sébastien était dans le Colorado US pour la Hardrock 100 miles soit 160 kilomètres avec plus de 10 000D+ et une altitude moyenne à 3300 m. Il remporte la course avec le record à la clé...
Seulement 6 semaines séparent la Hardrock 100 et l'UTMB®. Question récupération, c'est un véritable défi pour Seb. Malheureusement, après 30kms de course, il est contraint d'abandonner pour cause de sur-fatigue...
Pour cette année 2013, le beau temps fût de la partie et les coureurs ont donc pu réaliser le vrai tour du mont-blanc. Et pour que la fête soit plus belle, les américains Anton Krupicka, Timothy Olson, Michael Foote, Mike Wolf ou encore Rory Bosio sont venus défier les nombreux coureurs de haut-niveau tels que Julien Chorier, Carlos Sà, Miguel Herras, Jonas Buud... mais la belle surprise vient du jeune français Xavier Thévenard qui remporte la course en 20h38.
