This is the whole involved procedure for doing a compression re-fret on a guitar with a non-adjustable truss rod and especially one with a fairly weak truss rod like the '42 with its ebony rod. This is another VERY long video but I want you to see the whole process, my thought process, and everything that goes into a compression fret job.
