Here we see some trains on the South Wales Mainline at Bridgend [BGN] and Pontyclun [PYC] on 26/02/2019.
We start off at Bridgend where we see many TfW and GWR and some freight passing at speed. Seen here is 175003 in the TfW livery on Maesteg services and also a rare top and tailed class 66 working with 4 steel wagons which, I was told, could have been part of a train which split on the line the day before.
After a ride up to Maesteg onboard 150279 I stopped off at Pontyclun to see some trains at speed. There we see some IETs, a 153 and some freight including 60015 working 675A 1135 Westerleigh Puma Dbc to Robeston Sdgs with a great 2 tone! Always nice to see a Tug at work. Also seen is 150280 on a Maesteg service, 158822 passing through at speed and also 66098 again loaded with steel working 683A 1358 Margam T.C. to Llanwern Exchange Sdgs
