Here at Team Wild, nothing is more important to us than the promotion of ethical and sustainable hunting. Most of the game that we harvest is placed back into the food chain.
Last week, Cai Ap Bryn was taken deer stalking in the wild highlands of Scotland, where he took part in the deer cull to harvest two red deer.
Tonight, whilst the rest of the team continue with the cull, we join Cai in his second home, the kitchen, where he shows us how to rustle up a hearty venison stew, using beef stock and traditional local root vegetables.
It's a really easy recipe to follow, and a great meal for hunters who have put in a hard day's deer stalk, so why not try it for yourself? You won't be disappointed!
