Catskill Mountains Backpacking the Pine Hill West Branch Trail

Описание: This was my first trip to the Catskill Mountains. It was also the first time backpacking with my new friend, DL. We are both hoping to one day enjoy more dramatic locations for our backpacking adventures. The Catskills were a nice place to connect and get to know each other's hiking styles and skills. This was very much a forest hike. There was only one view, and the water levels were very low.. We crossed several dry stream beds. The leaves were just starting to change, but some areas were rather lovely. It wasn't easy to make this video distinctive, but I did my best. I am sure the forest is lush in the summer months, and once the leaves thin out, the contour of the surrounding mountains will be visible.
