Welcome to the Connecticut Appalachian Trail. Join my hiking and backpacking buddies and me as we complete a 34-mile section hike along the Housatonic River. This is part of a longer-term goal to complete the entire Appalachian Trail through a series of section hikes. This fall, the trail is quiet as northbound thru-hikers have completed their journeys. This time of year, the trail and the views belong to section hikers.
