My name's Destiny Etheridge. I practice family medicine on the West End. I like to see patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. I'm very passionate about preventative health, chronic disease management, and just empowering patients to take care of their health. So I'm interested in family medicine because I experienced as well as seeing other people experience the detrimental effect that happens with health disparities. So I wanted to enter the field to be an advocate for patients like me and patients in communities similar to mine.

I see patients from five days old to 80 years old and everyone in between. I really enjoy the continuity of seeing families and I enjoy the challenges that come with seeing a variety of ages of patients.

Well, I'm from Southern Illinois originally, way far from Chicago. I went to school in Virginia, the Hampton Roads area. So I did undergrad and medical school out there and then finished up my training at Indianapolis. I have some family here in Louisville and I have two little ones, two little boys. So we came down here to have some support and enjoy the city.

For fun, I love to read, specifically historical fiction. I love spinning. I am part of the Peloton cult. I love running and I also really love local coffee shops. So if anybody has any favorite local coffee shops, I would love to visit.
