NYC Transit | Micheal J. Quill Depot Review

Описание: This depot is known to being the biggest goddess depot of NYC. It has an amazing history to keeping their buses the most admiring since it became the ex.Greyhound Bus Depot. It was able to hold the most quantity of RTS', articulated buses since 2000, electric buses since 2013, and Select bus service routes since 2009. And more importantly, the energy technology from rooftop through garages makes the depot as much environmentally friendly as Manhattanville Depot.

I can always see Micheal J.Quill's buses since I was immigrant in 2007. But in 2015, the M42 route was my first I ridden on with my mother to Intrepid Museum and back home. This was one year after, my uncle got hired to being a dispatcher at Quill too. By August 2017, I officially got hired temporarily and rapidly got into manages some buses within my choice. I cannot forget my first bus, the Orion VII OG HEV 6745(now retired) I operated. I had wish there were Xcelsiors when I got hired, but suddenly we received XD60s in November 2017 for more modernize SBS & D60HF replacements for retirement. And 2018 was the first best year for me because, we got our new electric buses as the XE40s, Cuomo livery Novabus LFSAs, and Cuomo livery XD40s. And I forgot to mention, that it was our last time performing holiday classic buses on the M42. And in 2019, the XD60s and XE60s came to make our depot more special. And our bus routes were getting more bus lanes as expected. By this year 2021, this depot is awarded to being complete satisfaction. And my favorites so far the Xcelsiors, and mostly the XE60s as the all-time high ranks. Besides the fleet, the operators are most friendly. But little to less, have messed up sense when it comes to making considerations with depot's safety and service preparations. Regardless, we have our heroes and with my favorite, Luis Lopez who became recognized more since I first saw him again after a year in October 2020. He is still operating the M12 today, while some days is the M20. And the reality of Quill, always make me think of a bus driving simulator to portray it's operations. This depot is always used for MTA commercials and news post frequently, as to introducing buses with Wi-Fi and USB by Cuomo in 2016. This is all what makes Quill my most favorite depot out of all the bus operation depots citywide. As of February 10, 2022; all Orion VII OG HEVs are retired completely along with Mother Clara hale Depot. Until the middle of the spring 2022 season, Quill received the Novabus LFS Hybrids to give Manhattanville Depot all of their XDE40s lately. Eventually, as of April 1st, Quill gave up to 10 XD40s to Manhattanville Depot. And their M60 SBS to Mother Clara Hale and M66 to Manhattanville too. The fleet and route transfers occur because of the needed rooftop renovations on Micheal J.Quill Bus Depot. As of May 9th, 2023 , the depot became the first depot citywide to have a full complete fleet of MTA Andrew Cuomo Livery scheme buses.
