Prof. Chetan Marwah is a Delhi-based academic and businessman. He earned his PhD in Business Administration in Switzerland and has worked in India, the United States, and Canada.

His father’s family, originally from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were major steel importers. At the time of Partition, Mohammad Ali Jinnah persuaded his grandmother to stay back in Pakistan to help build the industry. In exchange, the family was flown to Mumbai by chartered plane, and she later followed by ship in 1950 with the family's assets. His father, once an award-winning theatre actor, eventually became a lawyer.

His mother, Shobha, came from C Block, Model Town, Lahore. Their home was later turned into a Pakistani bank. She studied English Literature at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hindu College, Delhi University, and completed his postgraduate and doctoral education in Lausanne. With over 35 years of experience, he has consulted for more than 100 global brands, especially during his years in the U.S. Returning to India, he led several companies as CEO and MD and founded a tech firm.

He later moved into academia, teaching at a top business school in Delhi and supervising doctoral research at the Academy of Human Resources in Ahmedabad. Several of his projects are featured in Harvard Business School case studies. He is currently setting up a high-tech farming venture.

In 2015, he founded two Facebook groups promoting India-Pakistan understanding: Indo-Pak Heart to Heart (focused on current events) and Indo-Pak Real Talk (focused on entertainment and shared culture). Together, they attracted over 15,000 members, with all administrators from Pakistan. However, following the 2016 Pathankot attack, he publicly declared that peace with Pakistan was no longer viable and exited both groups.

Shakil Chaudhary is a journalist, author, and researcher. He is an alumnus of Government College, Lahore. He later studied International Relations at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and Media and Communications at the London School of Economics.

Over the years, he has worked for several leading English-language newspapers and a few other organizations. He is the author of the critically acclaimed bilingual book Handbook of Functional English (Ferozsons), designed to help South Asians improve their English language skills.

Prof. Tariq Rahman, one of South Asia’s most distinguished linguistic scholars, has praised the book, calling it “an excellent guide for the South Asian user of the English language.” Shakil has twice spoken at the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C., and has conducted numerous workshops on communication, writing, and critical thinking.

He is a founding member of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) and served as President of the Progressive Writers' Association, Islamabad, from 2021 to 2022. He has attended Rotary’s annual conventions in Toronto and Hamburg.
