Experience Julius Eastman’s 1974 minimalist masterpiece Femenine performed live at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia by acclaimed saxophonist-composer Jeremy Rose and The Earshift Orchestra.
Filmed after hours inside the exhibition Julie Mehretu: A Transcore of the Radical Imaginatory, the performance took place alongside Mehretu’s Femenine in nine series – paintings inspired by Eastman’s groundbreaking score.
