That citation is good for 10 days. During these initial 10 days you need to apply for this waiver for hardship. *** Talk to an attorney first as you may want to a have a formal or informal hearing. If you choose the waiver which 9 out of 10 people charged with dui do then do it yourself. Sign up for DUI school, using the citation you receive and contact the nearest Hardship license DMV. The locations, phone number and fax are on the form.
