The Congress Sandesh is a publication of the Congress Party for the news related to the national party. The magazine is launched in three languages, Hindi, English and Urdu.

Mrs Gandhi gave a speech during the launch of the magazine.

Sonia Gandhi: "This is, first of all, a very special issue because it happens to coincide with our 50th anniversary with the 15th of August. And basically we have launched this venture as a medium of interaction with our readers, who will mostly be party workers but we very much hope also congress sympathizers and people at large."
