When the train reached Tundla junction millions of people were present there to pay tribute to Rajiv Gandhi.

Some of the women were seen crying as the train crosses Firozabad.

May 21, 1991, former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was the target of an LTTE cadre. It is impossible to gauge how the loss of Rajiv, then just 46, changed Indian political history.
