When assisting students in yoga postures we begin with a few simple principles that help the student develop their own level of depth and experience.
This way we assist the person not the asana, providing support, encouraging confidence while respecting personal limits and boundaries.
These principles give you a clear approach to assisting that works across many different asana.
This is by no means comprehensive and requires much time and study to apply in it's full depth.
We highly recommend taking a Yoga Teacher Training Course before teaching and applying these methods.
