In this video, we will return to one of my all-time favorite places in the country: Logan Hill in Wyoming's remote yet vital Powder River Basin. With 40% of of coal mined in the United States moving over these rails, there is always a non-stop stream of action to be seen here, made even better by sweeping views and eastbounds battling the 1% uphill grade. On this visit, action got even more chaotic as afternoon thunderstorms brought challenging operating conditions to the area. We will capture all of the precautions and consequences that result from weather like this on the railroad, making this one of the more interesting days I have had trackside. I hope you enjoy following along at one of the most impressive railroading locations in the country!
Thanks For Watching & Enjoy!
