In order to accurately rate the MYX II, we selected five key factors to evaluate. We paid extra attention to these categories during our testing process. These factors included:

▬▬▬ MYX II Performance ▬▬▬

1. Quality of Construction: 9/10
This MYX bike includes exceptional quality in its construction. Not only is it commercial-grade, but additional consideration has been taken to make it such a fantastic model, including an optimized Q-factor at 165mm. The Q factor is the distance between pedals to decrease knee stress.


2. Apps & Connectivity: 5/10
Applications such as Strava, Sufferfest, and Zwift are not available for this model as the touchscreen-only supports MYXfitness content. However, it does include Bluetooth connectivity and pairs nicely with the Apple watch.

3. Smoothness of Ride: 9/10
This model provides an incredibly smooth ride. The smoothness is in part to the weighted flywheel located at the front of the bike. In addition, the inertia generated from the 41-pound flywheel helps to create a great riding experience.

4. Adjustability: 9/10
The three-way adjustability of the seat and handlebars is ideal for riders close to 5’ and over 6’. It allows riders to find the correct riding position for maximum comfort and safety.

5. Integrated Platforms: 9/10
Most indoor cycling bikes offer maybe one integrated platform if you are lucky. However, this MYXfitness bike model offers two great platforms. These platforms include OpenFit and BODi, requiring at least one membership.

1. Is the MYX II bike as good as Peloton?
With the new Beachbody content, camera, and price, the MYX II bike might be better than the Peloton. Although, it is essential to note that the MYX doesn’t include a leaderboard like the Peloton. It comes down to which specific features you are interested in your bike and platform possessing.

2. Can you use the MYX II bike without a membership?
Since this model includes friction resistance, it can be used without a membership. However, if you do not want to purchase either a BODi or Openfit membership, you might want to select a more affordable indoor cycling bike since the touchscreen only works with MYX compatible apps; that function would be rendered useless.

3. Do you need special shoes for the MYX II bike?
The MYX II bike pedals come equipped with SPD clips and toe cages for regular street shoes. They also include a larger pedal for maximum comfort.

4. Can you watch Netflix on the MYX II bike?
No, unfortunately, that feature is only currently available on the Bowflex VeloCore.
