After dreaming of this for literally my entire life, I finally took a walk on the Appalachian Trail - 42 miles across Maryland, taking a leisurely four days and three nights. The experience was as magical as I'd always dreamed it would be, and I'm documenting some of it here on YouTube mostly just so I can watch it again sometimes and keep daydreaming.
I'm retiring from the Army in 2023, with a plan to walk the entire 2,200 mile trail VERY soon.
