The Orthodox Church refused to attend the mediation talks arranged by the Kerala Government, citing their dissent over the delay in implementing Supreme Court order. The Church also threaten to file a contempt of court against the Kerala government. Jacobite faction handed over the original manuscript of the Malankara church constitution framed in 1934 to Kerala government. The faction alleges that the Orthodox faction made corrections in the copy of the constitution for claiming ownership of the Church property.
