2025 Waterfalls 4K - episode 18

Описание: It's now the 3rd week in October. Color is beginning to peak in the mid elevations, but the peak color isn't necessarily around the waterfalls. The video begins at Twin Falls in the Pisgah NF. It's a sunny day, water levels are really low, but the sunshine gifted us a beautiful rainbow. There was barely any water on the other falls, so I didn't even shoot it. The next day we went back to the Pisgah and hiked up South Fork of Mills River to Billy Branch Falls which I hadn't been to in years. A few days later we decided to head Table Rock SP South Carolina for a hike and took a side trail to Mill Creek Falls. Color hadn't peaked yet at that elevation and their water situation was worse than our in NC.
We finally got some rain towards the end of the month and spent the next day visiting Whitewater Falls and Pothole Falls near SC and the nearby Hiker's Peril Falls in SC. A couple of days later we tried our luck at Virginia Hawkins Falls in SC. It's now the first week in November and we headed into SC once again. I thought Riley Moore Falls would have decent color, but it was past peak. The last waterfalls in the video are Little Brasstown Falls and Brasstown Falls. There was nice color around the drops of Brasstown Falls and the mist coming up from the middle section made that area really special.
