Shaykh Abdul Wakeel al-Hashimi is a contemporary Islamic scholar and muhaddith renowned for his extensive chains of transmission (isnads) in the field of Hadith. He is knows as the Musnid of Hijaz due to his knowledge of Ilm al-Hadith and his extensive chains in many Hadith works back to the Prophet ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุณูู
. He is a direct descendant of the esteemed scholar Shaykh Abdul Haqq al-Hashimi (1884โ1972). Shaykh Abdul Wakeel's lineage traces back to the noble lineage of Umar ibn al-Khattab, further enhancing his scholarly stature. He has dedicated his life to the study and transmission of Hadith. He is the Hadith teacher of great scholars of our time such as Shaykh Badr al-Utaybi, Shaykh Salih al-Usaymi and Shaykh Abdur Rahman al-Faqih.
Shaykh Abdur Rahman Hassan mentions how he has a chain in the Kitab Wuqut al-Salah of Imam Malikโs Muwatta from the Shaykh.
