About Jatayu:
Jatayu is a jazz-rock quartet from Chennai, India. The band weaves together instrumental Indian classical music with jazz, blues, and rock.
69 is their tribute to the fundamental role of mathematics in all styles of music. While the base pulse of the song is on the meter of 9, this chaotic composition runs through a number of different time signatures before returning to the main melody written in the meter of 6.
