Jatayu is a jazz-rock quartet from Chennai, India. The band weaves together instrumental Indian classical music with jazz, blues, and rock.
In their usual style they demonstrate the emotions of a man (Manu) , crying to the gods (of Guitar) in a desperate need to remove the barriers between oneself and divinity (The Audience) only to find the barriers constructed by himself (His Drum Kit)
