🪴 Garden Work in Japan: Patio Wall Project and Some Mischievous Boys – Japan Garden

Описание: 🪴 This garden video was filmed on March 7, 2026 in Shizuoka City, Japan. The afternoon was spent working on a small patio wall just outside the house, part of an ongoing effort to make the garden more secure so our dogs cannot wander out toward the river.

Most of the video captures the quiet rhythm of that work—measuring, placing materials, and gradually building up the wall along the edge of the patio.

While I worked, a small episode unfolded across the river. A few local boys appeared along the riverbank and passed through the farmer’s field on the other side, leaving a gate open behind them. Later they returned and quietly set things right before continuing on their way.

The garden work continued after that, and by the end of the afternoon the patio wall had taken shape. Another simple day of work in the garden beside the Yoshida River here in the Valley of Tea.
