• Teeworlds programming #018 - account security
This episode introduces a basic text file based account system. We are using it to save xp and level from last episodes level system. The account system is a very basic implementation and might need some additions and checks before a active production usage. It is wise to add some limitations on the username regarding allowed characters since it will be used as a file path and could be used as an attack vector. A ratelimit for login attempts would help with bruteforce attacks.
