2002 C5 Corvette Z06 Oil Change

Описание: How I change the engine oil in my 2002 C5 Corvette Z06. This same procedure applies to all C5 Corvette models from 1997 thru 2004.

SAE 5W-30 Mobile 1 Full Synthetic Engine Oil.
Oil capacity with filter change = 6.5 US Quarts, but most likely will need 7.0 US Quarts if you tip the rear of the car up to get more old oil out.
Oil Filter – Mobile One - part number M1-107 or M1-107A.
Oil drain bolt new rubber washer/O-ring/gasket = AC Delco part number 3536966.
Oil drain bolt torque spec = 18 ft-lbs.
Oil filter torque spec = 22 ft-lbs.

If your drain bolt is damaged, drain bolt with rubber gasket = part number 11562588.
If you want a magnetic tip drain bolt = part number 88891787.

Size B oil filter cap wrench
Socket wrench
Pair of plastic Rhino Ramps
Hydraulic floor jack
Multiple 2x4 or 2x6 pieces of wood
Oil drain pan that can hold 7 quarts
Funnel
Disposable gloves
Paper Towels
Portable shop light
