I talk about Lookism in China, and a few popular words that are politically incorrect to use about people’s appearances. I speak in a clear ,slowish fashion hoping you would get to know more about China while learning the language. I intend to make a series talking about all aspects of Chinese culture/society in a language that is more adjusted for Chinese learners.
Chinese can be quite sophisticated and complicated when one wants to, after all the history is long and old. But you, as a language learner deserves to get to know about Chinese culture before the language supposedly equips you well to do so, as in China, all books and content (in written format) tend to be written in complicated fashion, it is a thing.
Anyway. Making the content interesting as well as easy to understand is my mission,I hope you get a fun time listening to it and picking up a few new words along the way. Deal?
