Each one of these institutions are types of Christ's and God's relationship with His own body, the Man Jesus.

You may be thinking right about now, what in the world is Kevin talking about and how did he get that from the scriptures?

Well my friend, once you and I understand the theme of the Bible then the words of the Bible becomes very evident. The Bible basically explains itself.

Please allow me to give you a couple of short outlines.

Christ is God's Elect - He is the visible part of the invisible God
Israel is God's Elect - He is God's Firstborn Son and God's Wife
The Church is God's Elect - She is God's body, the resurrected spiritual man Jesus

The physical seed
Israel is God's Firstborn
Israel is God's Wife
Israel is God's Son

The spiritual seed
The Church is God's bride
The Church is God's body
The Church is God's ambassador

Once we understand that both Israel and the Church are types of relationships that the Father have with the Son then everything else becomes evident.
