Episode 1481: The Faith that comes from God is DELIVERED to the Believer according to Jude

Описание: Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we conclude our look at the first of the two given to us in the scriptures.

What are the two types of Faith, you ask?

The first type of Faith is The Faith of our Lord Jesus Christ which results in salvation.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

The second type of Faith is the faith of each individual born again believer which results in a lifestyle of righteous good works.
Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

The scriptures are crystal clear on the separation of these two faiths. One comes solely from God while the other is produced in the believer by the Holy Spirit AFTER the Lord raises the sinner from the dead which is salvation.

One is the means of salvation while the other is the divine nature of salvation.

Most cannot distinguish the difference between the two hence the error in teaching that both comes as the result of the dead sinner's faith alone, which is unbiblical and hereditary.

As we conclude our study on the first of these two faiths, let us be mindful that this faith PRODUCES a godly lifestyle. As it is written:
Titus 2:11-14 (NKJV)

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

This is how WE know we have the right Faith. God already knows therefore our lifestyles have no impact on the LORD of glory. As it is written:
Acts 15:18 (NKJV)
18 “Known to God from eternity are all His works.

And again

2 Timothy 2:19 (NKJV)
19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

Nahum 1:7 (NKJV) 7 The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.

John 10:14 (NKJV) 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.
