This is a 'walk and talk' bush exploration to the ruins of the Aberdare South Colliery, Abernethy N.S.W. It has been over 40 years since our last visit here and as we have always had a fascination for industrial ruins and abandoned railways, it was about time for a return trip. After exploring the ruins of the winding house and chimney we head over to the overgrown but beautifully preserved No.3 Tunnel on the long-abandoned Richmond Vale Railway.
