Camino Francés Days 44 to 46 | Melide to Santiago | Walking into Santiago in the Rain

Описание: After 46 days on the Camino Francés, we walked into Santiago de Compostela in the rain soaked, tired, and overwhelmed.

In this final episode of our Camino series, we cover the last three stages from Melide to Arzúa, O Pedrouzo, and finally Santiago. Along the way, we crossed the last medieval bridge on the Camino, walked beneath a hórreo in O Pino, debated finishing early to avoid the rain… and climbed Monte do Gozo in heavy fog.

The weather didn’t cooperate for our arrival, but somehow it made the moment even more unforgettable.

We also attended the Pilgrim Mass, saw the Botafumeiro swing through the cathedral, hugged the statue of Saint James, and picked up our Compostela certificates marking the end of our Camino Francés.
