Time for another run in the 1986 tube stock. Specifically the green unit. The two other units in this class were red and blue respectively.
We start at Epping station, in the top-right corner of the tube map. Epping is not technically in London, but rather the County of Essex.
As you can guess from the title of this video, we are driving from Epping to Ongar in this video. On the way we stop at North Weald and pass through the closed Blake Hall station.
In real life I don't think the 1986 stock ever ran on the Epping to Ongar line. The closest they got to Epping might have been Woodford. For the purposes of this video, I'll say that the scenario is set in 1989. At the time, the Epping to Ongar shuttle would have been operated by a set of 1960 tube stock. The line was closed in 1994, but re-opened as a heritage railway in 2004. It closed again in 2007, re-opening as a proper steam railway in 2012.
