This 25-minute Yin Yoga practice is designed to gently support wrist mobility, joint health, and connective tissue release.
The session focuses on the wrists, hands, and forearms, using slow, supported, floor-based poses held for longer periods of time. Yin Yoga works with the deeper tissues of the body and encourages circulation, hydration of the joints, and a calmer nervous system.
This practice may be especially helpful if you:
• experience tight, stiff, or sore wrists
• spend time typing, using a phone, or working at a desk
• practise Pilates, yoga, strength training, or weight-bearing exercise
• want a gentle, low-impact wrist stretch
You’ll be guided through wrist extension and flexion in a safe, mindful way, with an emphasis on staying within a comfortable range and avoiding strain. Props such as cushions, folded blankets, or blocks are encouraged to support the body fully.
This Yin Yoga class is suitable for beginners and all levels. No previous Yin experience is needed, and rest options are always available.
Move slowly, listen to your body, and remember that in Yin Yoga, less effort often creates more space.
