Описание: To push the envelope of what's possible in laminating and casting dichroic films in epoxy, I started casting sheets from my "Big Flame" mold (normally used for guitar tops) which essentially just creates wavy sheets with a bookmatch down middle so each side is mirror image of each other. The symmetrical wave sheet reminded me of wings, so taking the inspiration of winged figures from Art Deco architecture, I decided to do my version with facial and angelic imagery, thus named "Michael" the Archangel. I cast several dichroic sheets in green/magenta and red/cyan, but also a sheet in mirror metallized PET film for reflecting the transmitted light THROUGH the dichro layered over top. The rest is too complex to explain, but involved laser cutting and assembling with CA glue, then casting, shaping, sanding and buffing.
