Would you believe I'm actually a certified Cajun chef? It's true! When I was in college, during Spring Break, my friend and I went to New Orleans, learned from the New Orleans School of Cooking. So since Mardi Gras is coming up, I'm gonna make my version of a Cajun classic, Jambalaya.
For this you'll need:
1 bunch of Celery
1 Onion
1 Bell Pepper (though I omitted it)
1 whole bulb of Garlic
4 Chicken Thighs
1 big Portuguese Sausage (Linguiça) or Cajun Andouille
2 rice cups of Rice (traditionally long grain)
1 can Tomato Sauce
4 cups Chicken Broth
1 big spoon of Joe's Stuff Cajun Seasoning
1 lb Shrimp (peeled)
