This card is adapted from the book 'Drawing Form and Pose' by Tom Fox.
This card is all about the width of the skull, but I feel I have quite a good intuition for that now, so I like to try and use the time to draw the head from angles I find more difficult.
All of the work I've been doing making videos for the drawing from imagination playlist has, I feel, helped me to actually improve my head drawings and other art, and I'll talk more about that soon, but even my line work feels actually a significant amount better, as does my ability to visualize the things I am trying to draw.
BUT! Only with things I am familiar with, like heads, which is an interesting problem. Give me something like a rib cage to draw, and I still can't do it...
These are all from imagination.
This took 30 minutes, but I spent 1 hour practising with a ballpoint pen.
